“A good broth will raise the dead,” goes the saying. For thousands of years, different cultures around the world have believed in the wonders of bone broth.
Glamorous? No. Effective? It is! Bone broth is used by several celebrities and influencers. It is said to boost your immune system, keep bones and joints strong, provide better sleep, glowing skin and much more! That sounds promising, but is this goodie really worth the hype?

Bone broth is often part of Asian recipes, but it is mostly used these days because of its supposed health benefits. Bone broth is made by simmering fleshy bones and joints in water for a long time. Doesn’t sound very tasty, we know… But because the broth is cooked naturally and for long periods of time, the goodness is rich in valuable nutrients.

Bone broth contains the amino acid Glutamine, one of the most versatile and abundant amino acids in the body, and glycine. Both amino acids have anti-inflammatory properties and multiple protective effects on various organs, such as our intestines.
